TheAD7441/AD7451*are,respectively,10-/12-bithighspeed,lowpower,single-supply,successiveapproximation(SAR),analog-to-digitalconverters(ADCs)thatfeatureapseudodifferentialanaloginput.Thesepartsoperatefromasingle2.7Vto5.25Vpowersupplyandachieveverylowpowerdissipationathighthroughputratesofupto1MSPS.
TheAD7441/AD7451containalownoise,widebandwidth,differentialtrack-and-hold(T/H)amplifierthathandlesinputfrequenciesupto3.5MHz.ThereferencevoltageforthesedevicesisappliedexternallytotheVREFpinandcanrangefrom100mVtoVDD,dependingonthepowersupplyandwhatsuitstheapplication.
Theconversionprocessanddataacquisitionarecontrolledusingoverbar:CSandtheserialclock,allowingthedevicetointerfacewithmicroprocessorsorDSPs.Theinputsignalsaresampledonthefallingedgeofoverbar:CSwhentheconversionisinitiated.TheSARarchitectureofthesepartsensuresthattherearenopipelinedelays.
