TheAD7273isa10-bit,highspeed,lowpower,successive-approximationADC.Thepartoperatesfromasingle2.35Vto3.6Vpowersupplyandfeaturesthroughputratesupto3MSPS.Thepartcontainsalow-noise,widebandwidthtrack/holdamplifierwhichcanhandleinputfrequenciesinexcessof30MHz.
TheconversionprocessanddataacquisitionarecontrolledusingCSandtheserialclock,allowingthedevicestointerfacewithmicroprocessorsorDSPs.TheinputsignalissampledonthefallingedgeofCSandtheconversionisalsoinitiatedatthispoint.TheconversionrateisdeterminedbytheSCLK.Therearenopipelinedelaysassociatedwiththepart.
TheAD7273usesadvanceddesigntechniquestoachieveverylowpowerdissipationathighthroughputrates.
