TheAD7468*are12-/10-/8-bit,highspeed,lowpower,successiveapproximationanalog-to-digitalconverters(ADCs),respectively.Thepartsoperatefromasingle1.6Vto3.6Vpowersupplyandfeaturethroughputratesupto200kSPSwithlowpowerdissipation.Thepartscontainalownoise,widebandwidthtrack-and-holdamplifier,whichcanhandleinputfrequenciesinexcessof3MHz.
TheconversionprocessanddataacquisitionarecontrolledusingCSandtheserialclock,allowingthedevicestointerfacewithmicroprocessorsorDSPs.TheinputsignalissampledonthefallingedgeofCS,andtheconversionisalsoinitiatedatthispoint.Therearenopipelinedelaysassociatedwiththepart.
